This is one of the better pictures from my first experience with light painting. There is absolutely
no photoshop used. The effect was achieved by using a 20 second exposure and walking through the frame with a light while the shutter is open.
Every post by me from this point on will feature a “Mini-Blog” that contains something other than just a picture. Sometimes ranting, sometimes amusing videos, sometimes, cool software, etc. Today: Good Music.

Very cool, what did you use as a light?
It was actually just my cell phone on the dimmest setting. I want to try with laser pointers or l.e.d.s or something also.
Hey Paul,
Nice photos. What are you shooting with? I just recently art directed a shoot with Mark Arbeit and thought you should check out his site since you’re intereted in portraiture. http://www.markarbeitphotography.com/index_home.htm
He shoots mainly medium format w/ digital back and 8 x 10 negs. Pretty impressive. Nice to see what you’re producing. Thanks for including me in your blog release. See you at the wedding in August.
Aloha
