flame through shades

I borrowed this idea from our Norwegian friend Feanare. I think hers turned out better, though. Artists often nurture and inspire one another and imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I hope she doesn’t mind. This shot is in a little glass blowing shop in Juneau. The special shades allow one to see more detail through the flame and melting glass.

I think your version is just as good, if not better. The two images are quite different, after all, and not too easy to compare.
Anyhow, I hope you had some fun taking this shot. – Or the point would be all gone…
